Chesapeake Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Packaging has announced plans to shut down its printing facility in Evansville in Indiana, US.
The operations at the plant, which produces various printing and packaging products, will be terminated by the end of June, according to the company.
Around 59 employees are expected to lose their jobs, upon closure of the facility.
According to the company, the Evansville facility will be closed for various business reasons.
The New York-based company said it regrets that the action is necessary, and is developing plans for an orderly wind-down of its operations.
