US state banking trade association, California Bankers Association (CBA) has appointed CNA, as an exclusive, authorized insurance carrier.
The association said that it has chosen CNA, due to its expertise in catering specialized products, risk management education and services, designed mainly for financial institutions.
CNA underwriting assistant vice president Mark Tomlinson said the firm understands the unique business needs of California bankers and provide tailored property, casualty and specialty insurance coverage to respond to their exposures.
The CNA portfolio of essential coverage for financial institutions comprises directors and officers, bankers professional liability, lender liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, property & casualty, cyber liability/information risk, and fidelity bond.
CNA is the seventh US largest commercial underwriter and the 13th largest property and casualty company and its insurance products include standard commercial lines, specialty lines, surety, marine and other property and casualty coverage.
