In order to enable the interchangeability of LED light sources made by different manufacturers,Zhaga,which is an industry-wide cooperation between companies,has defined interfaces for a variety of application-specific light engines.Zhaga was established to benefit consumers and professional buyers of light engines and luminaries,because interchangeability will prevent market fragmentation into incompatible products.Besides,Zhaga specifications increase the degree of freedom for manufacturers to design components,reduce the production cost and the waste of components.In addition,Zhaga specifications will speed up innovation in the application of LED lighting.
