Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its self-driving sedan F 015 Luxury in Motion at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas.
The car has six display screens that are integrated into the instrument, rear and side panels and facilitates exchange of information between vehicle, passengers and the outside world.
Passengers of the F 015 Luxury in Motion will be able to interact with the vehicle through eye-tracking, gestures or by using the touching screen displays.
It is equipped with laser projection and LED displays which establishes contact to the outside world.
The concept car also features innovative variable seating system, consisting of four rotating lounge chairs.
The chairs are electrically powered which swings outwards by 30 degrees when the doors are opened, facilitating the passengers to get out easily.
Daimler chairman Dr Dieter Zetsche said: "Autonomously driving cars by Mercedes-Benz shall offer exactly that. With the F 015 Luxury in Motion, this revolutionary concept of mobility becomes tangible for the first time."
Mercedes-Benz has been working on F 015 Luxury in Motion for the past three years and engineers tested the vehicle in real world environment to make a practical concept, reported USA Today.
Dr Zetsche added: "We have a master plan in place to take the big leap required getting from technically feasible to commercially viable.
"The F 015 Luxury in Motion demonstrates where this may take us."
