Taiwan-based crystalline silicon solar cell makers Neo Solar Power, Gintech Energy and Solartech Energy as well as solar wafer makers Gigastorage and Green Energy Technology (GET) have all reported consolidated revenues for April, with Neo Solar and Gigastorage hitting monthly records and Gintech a 36-month high.
Neo Solar posted consolidated revenues of NT$2.555 billion (US$84.5 million) for April, increasing 1.46% on month and 149.82% on year, and January-April consolidated revenues reached NT$9.832 billion, hiking 172.02% on year. The company has released its first-quarter 2014 financial report, recording consolidated revenues of NT$7.277 billion, gross margin of 10.87%, net operating profit of NT$369 million, net profit of NT$384 million and net EPS of NT$0.52.
Gintech's April consolidated revenues of NT$1.749 billion grew 4.48% sequentially and 54.98% on year, and January-April consolidated revenues of NT$6.037 billion rose 52.10% on year.
Solartech's April consolidated revenues of NT$924 million increased 0.39% on month and 84.67% on year, and its January-April consolidated revenues totaled NT$3.580 billion, hiking 122.57% on year.
Gigastorage had consolidated revenues of NT$1.191 billion for April rising 11.22% on month and 65.17% on year and those for January-April reached NT$4.322 billion, growing by 60.50% on month.
GET's April consolidated revenues stood at NT$1.161 billion, up 0.53% on month and 14.5% on year, while its January-April consolidated revenues increased 33.89% on year to of NT$4.944 billion.
