Germany-based The Zahoransky Group said it plans to expand its Vogtland-Saxony facility.
Once completed, the plant, which entails an investment of €2.5m, will include a 1000m2 production center and a 780 m2 customer center with additional office space.
The mold manufacturing company's facility, expected to operate by year-end 2012, will primarily focus on molds for packaging applications, including Zahoransky's recently patented TIM (Total Integrated Manufacturing) In-Mold Assembly System, said the company.
Besides the two moldmaking facilities in Germany, the Zahoransky Group has another mold manufacturing facility in India.
