The Ikea group once again improved its key results figures on an over-proportional scale to its turnover in the 2010/2011 financial year.Turnover increased by 6.9%to 25.173bn with the highest rates of increase being recorded in Russia,China and Poland.The sales markets with the biggest turnovers,however,continued to be Germany(15%),USA(11%),France(10%),Italy(7%)and Sweden(6%).Following adjustment to account for newly opened stores,the group turnover increased by 2.7%in 2010/2011.Minus the franchise fees paid to the Dutch Inter Ikea Systems B.V.turnover amounted to 24.7bn.
