Wolters Kluwer Health has introduced CEConnection for employer-provided continuing education (CE) content from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) supporting nursing and new for allied health professionals, including pharmacist.
CEConnection.com, an online platform provides institutions peer-reviewed content from LWW journals and products, which make it easy to offer and track CE course completion by practitioners.
CEConnection in the past was available only for individual and institutional nurses.
Wolters Kluwer Health medical research publishing vice president Jayne Marks said Wolters is pleased to enhance CEConnection solution for allied health professionals who need convenient, easy-to-use online CE courses to fulfill their professional development needs.
"CEConnection helps institutions recruit, retain, and develop allied health and nursing staff skills by giving them a convenient and affordable way to improve their professional knowledge," Marks added.
The key features of the CEConnection.com platform are monthly update and customizable catalog of new activities, browsable listings, a CE Planner and activity assignment and usage tracking.
The new CEConnection offers variety of hospital-based CE at a single place, which includes CE for behavioral/psychiatric health professionals.
The course material, which will be renewed monthly, is presently provided for pharmacist, cardiovascular technicians, case managers, dieticians, health care quality professionals and speech-language pathologists.
