Victory Brewing, a Pennsylvania-based privately held craft brewery, has added a new beer, DirtWolf Double IPA, to portfolio.
The launch of new beer is part of the brewery's plan to increase beer production to meet customer demand.
DirtWolf Double IPA is a result of the brewery's Double IPA series experiment with whole flower, American-grown hops.
The 8.7% ABV brew is a blend of two-row German malts, Citra flower, Chinook, Simcoe and Mosaic hops. It carries an aroma of citrus and flavors of fruits, with piney, earthy and mildly floral characteristics.
Victory Brewing president and brewmaster Bill Covaleski said they are very proud to bring this delicious new double IPA, DirtWolf to market.
"As brewers who enjoy experimenting with beer styles and ingredient varieties, we are constantly looking to keep our core audience captivated and interested while creating opportunities to attract and introduce those new to the craft brewing movement. We think, and hope, everyone will be as pleased as we are with the result," Covaleski added.
DirtWolf Double IPA can be purchased at major gourmet grocery stores, bottle shops, beer distributors, and at craft beer bars throughout Victory's national distribution footprint, including Whole Foods Markets and Wegmans locations along the East Coast.
The beer is sold at suggested retail price of approximately $9.99 per bottle.
