Oregon Medical, a multi-specialty primary care group, has ordered for Carestream's Vue RIS+PACS+Reporting and Vue Cloud Archive.
Carestream's Vue RIS+PACS+Reporting is designed for delivering mobile image and report viewing on web-based devices such as iPads, integrated voice recognition and advanced tools that allow radiologists to read many modalities from a single workstation.
Carestream's Vue Cloud Archive provides vendor-neutral, virtualized, remote long-term storage, data protection and disaster recovery of clinical data as a predictable, pay-as-you-go service.
Vue Cloud Archive can also provide local on-site and/or remote archiving of any fixed-content clinical data and can serve as a truly active repository that is fully integrated into the diagnostic workflow.
Oregon Medical imaging services director Rick Doritty said in upgrading the company's existing technology, it was looking for a flexible solution that delivers productivity-enhancing features like integrated voice recognition and advanced tools that expedite and enhance the reading of 3D exams.
"We also believe Carestream's Vue Motion zero footprint viewer will facilitate access to images and reports by our clinicians and referring physicians, which delivers greater convenience and can help improve patient care," Doritty added.
