Tianjin Port(Group)Co Ltd,the largest port operator in North China,has announced its cargo throughput reach record high of 476 million metric tons in 2012,reflecting a YoY increase of 5.3%.
Source reported that last year,the port's container throughput rose 6.2%from a year earlier to 12.3 million twenty-feet equivalent units.
In 2012,the port realized RMB 13.5 billion in fixed assets investment,while its operation revenue for the year amounted to RMB 25.1 billion.
In 2011,Tianjin Port saw its cargo throughput exceed 453 million metric tons and ranked fourth in the world.
