DS Smith Packaging Belper has produced new retail ready packaging (RRP) for the American brand Blue Diamond UK range of almonds, which have been positioned as a healthier alternative to snacking.
According to DS Smith, the fine flute corrugated material of the packaging CartonFlute ensures a better appearance on shelf, which combined with a five color quality flexo print helps to support the brand.
The use of the brand identity on the RRP is also said to act as a visual cue enabling to grab the attention of the shopper and encourage selection.
The new pack has been designed structurally to offer strength in the supply chain, and comes with perforations engineered to make sure that the unit opens cleanly and easily each time.
