Popular bourbon brand Wild Turkey has launched a new spiced bourbon in Australia, which it says is the first-ever spiced Bourbon from the “Island of Kentucky”.
At 86 proof, Wild Turkey said its Wild Turkey Spiced bourbon maintains a “signature bold flavour while highlighting spiced cues”. Wild Turkey said the new variety was designed both to be enjoyed on its own, or mixed with cola.
“I wanted to develop a product that brought to life the best of our robust Bourbong, while delivering the smoother taste,” said Eddie Russell, Wild Turkey Associate Master Distiller. “Wild Turkey Spiced is a Real Kentucky Bourbon with flavours of vanilla and caramel and hints of clove and cinnamon,” he said.
To drive product awareness and trial, the introduction of Wild Turkey Spiced will be supported by a unique, tongue-in-cheek campaign that conveys what life is like on the “Island of Kentucky”.

Like all Wild Turkey Bourbons, the Spiced variety is produced through a natural aging process using American oak barrels with the deepest number 4 or “alligator” char that is used to age every Wild Turkey Bourbon variant.
Wild Turkey Spiced joins a growing product line-up that features flagship Wild Turkey Bourbon 86.8 and 101, Wild Turkey Rye, Rare Breed, Kentucky Spirit, American Honey and Russell’s Reserve.
Wild Turkey Spiced is available nationwide with a recommended retail price of $ 49.99 per 700 ml bottle.
