Further to its announcement on 4 October 2012, EVRAZ plc announced that it has received pre-transfer merger clearance from the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (‘FAS’) in connection with the acquisition of an indirect controlling interest in OJSC Raspadskaya and its subsidiaries.
Completion of the acquisition is expected to occur in Q1 2013.
