Chrysler Is Planning to Recall About 15,000 Units of Dodge Dart Vehicles

US auto maker Chrysler is planning to recall about 15,000 units of Dodge Dart vehicles over the engine stalling problem.

The recall affects 15,000 units of 2013 model year Dodge Dart cars that are powered by the 1.4L four-cylinder engines mated to dual-clutch automatic transmissions.

Out the total vehicles, about 12,900 units belong to the US, 1,900 are from Canada, while the remaining are from Mexico and outside North America.

The manufacturer discovered the problem during a test conducted on the Dart vehicles that had been parked in a room with 20-degree temperature for eight hours.

According to the automaker, the car stalled for some time after it was taken out of the room due to a defective computer.

The company claims to be unaware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem.

Recently, the company had planned to recall about 630,000 vehicles worldwide, over various issues in different models.
