Sports car manufacturer Porsche has delivered 87,800 cars to customers in the first six months of 2014, an 8% increase compared with the same period in 2013.
The company said that it generated increased sales in all key regions with strong demand from European customers.
During the period, the new Panamera Gran Turismo was in demand and around 13,500 units were sold, the company said.
In Europe, Porsche recorded 14% rise in deliveries to 30,000 units, of which 12,300 were sold in Germany.
The company delivered 23,000 new cars in the US, an 8% increase compared with the same period a year ago.
Porsche Sales and Marketing executive board member Bernhard Maier said: "We can look back on a very successful first six months of 2014 - despite sometimes volatile economic conditions and highly different trends on individual automotive markets."
In the second half of the year, we will keep our foot on the accelerator with the world-wide launch of the Macan and other model innovations."
