German carmaker BMW has introduced the revamped 2014 M5 sedan, incorporating features that are aimed at improving the driving experience.
The facelifted BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4LV8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and generates an output of 560hp.
The engine is mated to a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission, the Active M Differential at the rear axle and model-specific suspension technology that are accurately tuned to improve the performance.
Additionally, the German carmaker is offering a competition package for the revamped M5, which is powered by an improved V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that produces an output of about 423kW, 11 kW over the normal engine.
Features of the sedan include iDrive 4.2 Navigation system with touchpad surface and expanded storage compartments, in addition to other security features including new driving assistant system that incorporates lane departure warning and collision warning including braking function.
