Auction service company Tiger Remarketing Services LLC is set to auction off trucks, trailers, forklifts, fabrication machines, office equipment and other assets from Bar Steel Service Inc a 39 year old Sacramento steel-fabrication and installation company.
Bar Steel Service filed for Chapter 7 voluntary bankruptcy protection October 9 in US Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District, reporting assets of between USD 100,000 and USD 500,000 and liabilities of between USD 1 million and USD 10 million. Bar Steel reported fewer than 50 creditors.
The online-only sale is being conducted by order of the court. Bidding is now underway at www.SoldTiger.com and will close in rapid succession, live-auction style, beginning Tuesday.
A preview is set from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday at 8139 36th Ave., Sacramento. Checkout runs from 9 AM to 5 PM December 12-13.
The auction will feature two Freightliner truck tractors, a Freightliner stake-bed truck with a 26-foot bed, a Ford F-650 super-duty flatbed truck and a Ford F-450 super-duty pickup. Three trailers, between 20 and 40 feet in length, also will be available, as well as metal-fabrication equipment, two forklifts, furniture, cabinets, computers and more.
