Gander Mountain is opening a new location in Greenfield, set to open in the spring of 2014.
"For many years, Gander Mountain has been a well-known and trusted name in Indiana among those who love the outdoors, and who enjoy great traditions like hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and camping," said David Pratt, Gander Mountain's Chairman and CEO. "We are thrilled to bring another new Gander Mountain store to the Hoosier State, and give more of our friends in Greenfield and the greater Indianapolis metro area opportunities to experience our top-quality gear and knowledgeable service at great prices."
The store will be located in a new 45,600-square-foot facility located at 2175 Barrett Drive, just off I-70 at exit 104. It will be the ninth Gander Mountain location in Indiana, joining existing stores in Evansville, Fort Wayne, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Merrillville and Terre Haute, and a new store that has been announced for Avon, to open in the spring.
"We are very excited to welcome Gander Mountain to the City of Greenfield," said Greenfield mayor Chuck Fewell. "This is great news not only for the residents of Greenfield, but for our county and neighboring counties as well. As we continue to grow, we look forward to the products and services Gander Mountain brings to the city."
