Orchard Toys has appointed a new marketing manager, with the popular Lynda Freebrey due to retire at the end of April from her role as marketing and PR manager.
Alison Brown (pictured) starts at the firm on Tuesday March 5th. She arrives from The Line (previously Turton Middleton) where she worked on a range of business to business and business to consumer clients.
Brown has also spent stints with Virgin Money and Fox Murphy (now Balloon Dog), where she worked on a number of accounts including Disney on Ice.
"We are so pleased to have secured the services of a professional with such an excellent track record," said Simon Newbery, MD at Orchard Toys. "I have absolutely no doubt that Ali is an excellent choice and will fit seamlessly into our team."
Lynda Freebrey - who has been with the company for five and a half years - added: "I am thrilled that Ali will be taking over from me when I retire. We couldn't have found a better person for the job."
