Hyundai has teamed up with its performance partner ARK Performance to redesign its Genesis Coupe to be presented at the 2015 SEMA show to be held this November.
ARK, which specializes in creating premium, exhaust systems, suspension systems, and aerodynamic body parts, has added performance and luxury to the vehicle creating a premium coupe that can pit against vehicles like BMW M4 and Lexus RC F.
Using the "Solus" wide body kit, ARK has given a wider visual look to the car and has added front bumper and front bumper extensions, front wide fenders, side skirts, rear over fenders, rear bumper and rear bumper extensions.
To make the car more powerful ARK improved the fuel capacity by replacing Hyundai's Hyundai's 3.8-liter engine with 4.0 "Lambda" V6 engine that is capable of producing 500 horsepower.
BMW M4's high-pressure, quick-response turbocharging system produces 425 horsepower, and on the other hand the 5.0-liter V8 engine fitted in the Lexus RC F is capable of producing 467 horsepower.
ARK Performance marketing and sales manager Kevin Bentley said: "The Genesis Coupe is the perfect platform for developing our performance product lineup.
"Hyundai's 3.8-liter engine is strong enough to handle all the extra power we're now developing, and the chassis is well balanced and easy to modify, allowing us to create this lowered, aggressive stance while maintaining that clean look we're going for."
The redesigned Genesis Coupe will provide 6-speed manual transmission and by fitting it with APR Performance carbon fiber front splitter the company has managed to give it an aggressive, race-bred appearance.
Apart from modifying the exterior, the company has made changes to the interior as well which includes Rockford Fosgate complete PUNCH premium speaker system, redesigned dashboard with integrated multimedia screen, Synapse Engineering gauges, and custom threaded shifter.
