Chinese automobile manufacturer Zhejiang Geely Holding has secured orders to deliver 500 units of its London Taxi TX4 vehicles in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
Under the deal the company has delivered first 50 vehicles, as part of the order from the Nanjing Public Transportation Jiangnan Taxi Company in the country.
The TX4, which is five-seat passenger vehicle, is expected to meet the increasing passenger demands in the country.
According to the company, the TX4 vehicles introduced in Nanjing feature wi-fi hotspots that allow the passengers to access internet services on the journey.
All the vehicles will be manufactured by the subsidiary of Geely Group London Taxi (LTC) in Coventry, England.
The TX4 vehicles, which are claimed to be built using galvanized steel, come with safety features including air bags, three-point seat belts, power steering systems, and engine security chips.
