Parrot has launched its first dedicated games for the AR Drone 2.0 remote controlled copter.
Both free App Store games allow Drone pilots to compare their scores and times with others around the world.
AR.Race 2 is an aerial race, where the user selects a gaming zone, like their house or garden, and every part of the environment becomes part of the game as potential obstacles.
You can create a real-life course and finish line by placing a tag on the ground that will be recognised by the AR Drone 2.0's camera, allowing players to record race times. Multiple players and Drones can take part in the race.
Then there's the Augmented Reality game AR.Rescue 2, where users have to find parts of a spacecraft.
Piloting the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0, owners will go through four augmented reality worlds, killing monsters along the way and collecting parts.
