PPG Industries reported fourth-quarter 2012 net sales of $3.6 billion. The company's annual sales for 2012 were $15.2 billion, an increase of 2 percent versus 2011, according to a Jan. 14 release. Despite the record fourth-quarter results, glass segment sales were down $15 million from the prior year, landing at $241 million for the quarter. Higher flat glass sales were offset by lower fiber glass volumes and pricing, according to the release.
