Uhlmann Packaging Systems has introduced the new Blister Express Center 500 that has been aimed at increasing efficiency and versatility.
According to the firm, the new double-lane, integrated blister line with an integrated blister and carton module less than 10min length is ideal for packaging medium-sized batches of solid-dose made of conventional forming materials.
The machine features a newly-simplified format changeover process that enables a single person to reset the entire line in between runs, while the closing station is standard for all standard carton-closing systems and customized configurations are allowed through the modular design of the packaging line.
The BEC 500 line is capable of efficiently producing complex shapes, rigid aluminum pockets, and other non-traditional packages, and comes in a rotary or platen sealing.
Uhlmann Packaging Systems managing director Dirk Corsten claimed the equipment offers a record flexibility to ease-of-use ratio.
"We knew that the machine's broad range of capabilities would only be as good as our customers' ability to efficiently utilize them and, in that regards, the BEC 500 represents Uhlmann's finest blister line to date." added Corsten.
