NKT Holzoptimierung, which since 2008 has been owned by Weinig will move from its site in Eppingen to Alfeld from July 2013. With this step, Weinig will bundle the finger-jointing-lines product segment, which has until now been handled by Grecon and NKT, at a single location in future. According to Weinig’s chairman of the board Wolfgang Pschl, a service branch will continue to operate in Eppingen for NKT products, while sales of finger-jointing lines will be processed with immediate effect through the joint sales network of Weinig and Grecon Dimter Nord. Of the most recent number of ten employees at NKT, three will probably remain in the service branch.
