American food company Odwalla has launched a new line of food bars made with whole grains. The new bars are available in three flavors including Chocolate Chip Kick, Strawberry Score, and Banana Dunk.
The Chocolate Chip Kick is blend of whole organic grains with a chocolaty taste; Strawberry Score features organic whole grain oats and pieces of strawberry; and Banana Dunk combines organic whole grain oats with pieces of banana.
The company stated that each flavor contains 11 to 12g of organic whole-grains and each bar offers 130 to 140 calories, and is a good source of fiber.
Odwalla marketing vice president Irma Shrivastava said that the new Bars for Kids line help bridge the gap between nutrition and great taste.
"It's so important, and so difficult, to manage kids' diets in today's non-stop world," Shrivastava added.
All three bars are available in 1.28 oz. single units and in multi-packs at natural-food stores, select supermarkets and specialty outlets nationwide along with other Odwalla bars, including Super Protein, Blueberry Swirl, and White Chocolate Macadamia.
Odwalla product portfolio includes juices, juice drinks, smoothies, protein drinks, and nourishing food bars.
