Toyoda Gosei, a manufacturer of automobile parts is planning to invest $11m to set up a new plant to produce interior and exterior components in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
The 6,000m2 plant will be a branch plant of its subsidiary TG Minto which provides interior and exterior components to Toyota.
Planned to employ 70 employees, the new plant will produce instrument panel parts, pillar garnishes, column hole covers and expects to clock sales to $15m by 2014.
Scheduled to start production by July 2013, the factory will be company's fifth plant in Waterville in Quebec where the company operates WTG Waterville plant, the Coachcock plant, the Ontario plant and the TG Minto Palmerston plant.
