A full 80 days out of Christmas, the iconic Regent Street toy shop has unveiled its top toy picks for the season, including a Star Wars quadcopter that can reach speeds of 35 mph.
A Star Wars drone, VTech’s latest smartwatch and Fisher-Price’s Code-a-Pillar are among the toys predicted to be Hamleys’ bestsellers this Christmas.
A full 80 days out of Christmas, the iconic Regent Street toy shop has unveiled its top toy picks for the season, including a Star Wars quadcopter that can reach speeds of 35 mph.
In fact, the retailer has placed great onus on the tech side of the toy industry this year, with the likes of VTech’s Kidizoom Smart Watch joining the Fisher-Price Coda-a-Pillar and the DreamWorks Hug Time Poppy doll with the ability to say 25 phrases and sing songs from the upcoming Trolls movie.
Despite the lean however, games for the family still make the bill with as Hamleys champions the 2015 Pie Face sequel, Pieface Showdown alongside Bean Boozled, a game that dares players to eat jelly beans that look the same but vary in flavours from the delightful to the dreadful.
Elsewhere, a £90 Nerf Mega Mastodon blaster joins the Hamleys Magic Showcase and the £70 Paw Patrol Zoomer which brings the show’s character Marshall to life.
Meanwhle, for Avengers fans, the Marvel Legends Captain America shield features alongside the Iron Man Helmet, while in the world of futuristic toys the Alpha 1S Robot joins a Star Wars virtual reality viewer.
