Tang Eng, one of the major stainless steel flat product makers in Taiwan, said that since the company has reversed of loss on inventory and has the extra income from land expropriation in November, it might earn about NT$10 million of sales profit before tax in November.
In fact, Tang Eng posted loss of NT$393 million for the first three quarters of 2012.
Thus, Tang Eng may post profit loss for the whole 2012 even though the company has the positive sales number in November.
However, market analyst expected that Tang Eng might be able to earn profits in the first quarter of next year if nickel prices stay firmly at the current level.
