Jasper Engines & Transmissions has appointed a new leader to its transmission division.
The company announced that eight-year veteran Sara Schmidt will take over as the division’s manager. Most recently, she served as manager of the company’s certified components division, but she also has served in other capacities with the transmission division, Jasper said.
Schmidt replaces Craig Leuck, who moved to Jasper’s production system team. Leuck has been with the company for 19 years.
“Both Craig and Sara have proven track records of success, and we are confident they will do well in their new roles,” said John Schroeder, Jasper vice president of drivetrain remanufacturing.
