SambaSafety Has Added a Functionality to DRM System

US Cloud-based driver risk management firm SambaSafety has added a functionality to Driver Risk Management (DRM) system that helps increase visibility of driver behavior data for efficiency and convenience.

The new system empowers consumers to set the point value for a given driver event, such as speeding, to get a glimpse of corporate driving policies, while its Intelligent Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) routing leads to an automatic purchase of MVR types in accordance with state, CDL status and DPPA purpose code.

SambaSafety senior vice-president Rich Lacey said: "Our proprietary system uses a layered approach to make disparate data about drivers' behavior useful and actionable, continuously providing the information organizations need to improve driver safety.

"Our solution is unique in the industry as it delivers actionable alerts that are FCRA compliant-even in data challenged states like Texas."

Besides, the annual MVR Policy Management results in saving time and money by offering an optimization of the DOT-required annual MVR spend for firms with commercial drivers, based on specific schedule and date of hire, among others.

SambaSafety CEO Richard Crawford said: "At SambaSafety, we believe the most responsible companies are the ones who are prepared. Through our solution suite, employers can quickly identify at-risk drivers and take proactive measures to improve fleet performance.

"Together with our valued customers and partners, we're continuing to innovate in the driver risk management market, making driver safety a priority for all types of organizations in all industries."

Last April, SambaSafety put in place a system that sends alert as soon as a driver's record shows a negative vibe.
