The Co-operative Food, a UK-based retail chain, is recalling two batch codes of its own-brand Breaded Chicken Nuggets as they contain plastic, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The products subject to recall Breaded Chicken Nuggets bears a best before date of October 2013 and batch codes - L2288 6B and L2288 6C.
Point-of-sale notices have been displayed in the stores explaining about the recall and advising customers who have prchased the product to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
No other The Co-operative products are known to be affected by the recall.
