Belgium-based ingredients manufacturer Puratos has launched Deli Cheesecake, a ready-to-bake cheesecake base that is made with 30% real cream cheese.
Promoted as the perfect convenient cheesecake cake ingredient, Puratos Deli Cheesecake can be used straight from the packaging and has a shelf life of six months in closed packaging.
The cheesecake base, which is used to make New York Style Cheesecakes, is available in buckets of 5 or 12 kilograms as well as in larger packaging for industrial use.
The product can either be whipped to give it an aerated structure or can be used as a crust and it is suitable for any industrial oven. It can be mixed with chocolate, fillings and aromas or can be shaped in different forms, for individual servings or as dessert.
Deli Cheesecake is freeze-thaw stable, both before and after baking. Once baked, the cake can be used in chilled and frozen distribution channels.
