Mission Pharmacal Company has introduced new flavored Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Oral Solution 25mg/5mL for asthma patients in certain US markets.
The company expects to make the flavored asthma medicine, with grape taste and higher strength, soon available for patients throughout the country.
Mission Pharmacal Company Pediatric Rx Products senior director Clint Corwin said the company offers Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Oral Solution 25mg.
"We're pleased to provide a rescue medicine for those suffering an asthma attack that has a pleasant taste so kids don't balk when needing it. The stronger formulation aids in patient compliancy," Corwin added.
The liquid oral solution can be prescribed in lower volume for pediatric patients and eight oz. bottle facilitates prescribing flexibility, claimed the company.
