A full service insurance brokerage, The CG&B Group, has completed acquisition of the majority of assets of Believer Plus Insurance Brokers, for an undisclosed amount.
Representing the 16th acquisition made by the group in the past 16 years, the latest transaction takes its number of employees and annual premium volume to 225 and $175 respectively, as reported by Canadian Underwriter.
Launched in 1997 by The Mitchell-Abbott Group Insurance Brokers, Believer Plus Insurance Brokers offers online insurance quotes and tips to customers across Hamilton, Canada.
The company has also created the Sledder's Choice Insurance Program for Snowmobilers, which was originally designed for Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) members.
The CG&B Group president and CEO Larry Later said, ''Believer Plus is a good strategic fit for CG&B, and we look forward to continuing to grow this book of business.''
