US-based tire maker Toyo Tires is set to launch its new range of Open Country R/T in September 2014.
The tire will be manufactured at the company's plant in Georgia, making it the first tire for the company to be entirely made in the US, Off-Road.com reported.
The Open Country R/T will be situated in the Toyo Tires lineup between its A/T II all-terrain tire and its M/T mud-terrain tire.
The new tire has a tread design, which provides both off-road and on- road characteristics and it can be used on trucks and SUV's, Off-Road.com reported.
The company's present Open country A/T II is an all season tire that features a thread design which provides traction in poor conditions, and it offers 40% more treadlife than other tiers.
