The Label Makers, known as Labmak, has invested in Durst’s new eight-colour Tau 330 RSC label press, in a bid to enhance its production operations.
Durs said The Label Makers is the first UK beta site customer for the new digital and high speed press.
The new Tau 330 RSC UV inkjet label and package printing system has been installed at The Label Makers’ location in Bradford of Yorkshire.
The company will begin the operations of the new press in the next month.
Featuring 330mm print width, Durst’s Tau 330 press can deliver print speed of up to 78 linear meters/min at 1200 x 1200 dpi printing resolutions.
With eight color stations and high pigmented inks, the press has a production capacity of 1.485 m² per hour.
Tau 330 RSC label press can be used as stand-alone version or combined with in-line digital laser die cutting LFS 330.
Durst will officially the launch the new Tau 330 RSC UV inkjet label press, as well as Web2Print workflow solution at Labelexpo in Brussels, Belgium.
The event will take place from 25 to 28 September.
