Fukuda Trading Recalls Orion Brand Italian Potato Chips as The Products Contain Milk

Fukuda Trading is voluntarily recalling certain Orion brand Italian Gratin flavored Italian potato chips as the products contain milk which is not declared on the label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The affected products include Orion Italian Gratin flavored Italian potato chips of 115g and 50g featuring UPC codes 8 801117 718008 and 8 801117 910907 respectively.

The recalled products have been distributed in British Columbia and Alberta and may have been distributed in other provinces as well.

CFIA stated that to date there has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumers intolerant to milk are advised not to consume these products as it may result in a serious or life-threatening reaction.

Fukuda Trading is recalling the affected products from the marketplace, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
