The Raptis WR1 combines sleek, modern aesthetics and "exceptional" steering response with a silica compound and an asymmetric tread design, says Hercules.
The Raptis WR1 from Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. will be available in four new 17-inch sizes by the end of 2013. That will give the ultra-high performance lineup 27 SKUs ranging from 16 to 20 inches.
All the sizes are W-rated. The new sizes are:
1. 215/50ZR17 95W XL.
2. 225/50ZR17 98W XL.
3. 225/55ZR17 101W XL.
4. 235/45ZR17 97W XL.
The Hercules Raptis WR1 features a limited 35,000-mile/55,000-km mileage warranty that includes Hercules’ road hazard protection. The tire contains non-aromatic oil (NAO), which reduces its carbon footprint.
Popular vehicle fitments for the new sizes include the Acura TL and TSX; Chevy Malibu; Chrysler 200; Ford Focus and Fusion; Kia Optima; Lincoln MKZ; and Volvo S60.
