Canadian establishment Ecoideas Innovations is recalling Ethnoscience brand Dark Chocolate GOJI Berries as they may contain milk that has been declared on the packaging, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The product subject to recall is 170g Ethnoscience Dark Chocolate GOJI Berries bearing UPC code 0 75405 00123 with all Best Before Dates.
This recalled product has been distributed to retail stores across British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec. The recall has been classified as Class 2 health hazard, reports CFIA.
People allergic to milk are advised not to consume the recalled product.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people allergic or sensitive to milk.
