Snack products maker Whitworths has selected FFP Packaging Solutions to provide flexible packaging film designs for its breakfast range that consists of 30 new products.
FFP produced 13 film designs using its Platinum Print flexographic workflow approach, which is claimed to offer color accuracy and 'right first time' on-press performance.
The company worked with repro supplier Itarus to ensure that the number of layers in the laminate structure and associated design colors change throughout the product range.
Whitworths' breakfast range include unique dried fruit, nut and seed products. The five sub-ranges include Morning Munch, Shots, Sprinkles, Toppers and Flavours.
Whitworth projects manager Mark Oaten said, "We can always rely on FFP to continue to develop new approaches to keep them, and us, ahead of the game.
"Colour is of course a vital issue, along with print quality, and FFP are helping to ensure that our brand stays consistent, vibrant and dynamic on the supermarket shelf."
