American Aviation Administration Announced Grounding of All Boeing 787

Jan. 17, United States Federal Space Agency announced temporary grounding of Boeing 787 "Dream" aircrafts due to consecutive security incidents. Jan. 16th, a Boeing 787 of All Nippon Airways leaked smoke in flight and landed emergently in Takamatsu Airport, Kagawa Prefecture. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

After the delivery of the first Boeing 787 “Dream” to All Nippon Airways, several accidents occurred. There are seven accidents happening within 10 days of 2013.

Jan. 7, Japan Airlines, auxiliary power system (APU) battery component broke down after landing, and smoke puffed from cabin.

Jan.8, Japan Airlines, fuel spilled on the ground.

Jan. 9, Nippon Airways, due to the failure of the braking system, canceled flights.

Jan. 10, Nippon Airways, computer system failed and instructed falsely, resulting in flight cancellations.

Jan. 11, Nippon Airways, cockpit glass cracked in the flight.

Jan. 13, Japan Airlines, oil spilled when received maintenance in Tokyo Airport.

Jan. 16, Nippon Airways, urgently landed due cabin smoked.
