Bisimoto Creates 700HP Hyundai Tucson to Showcased at SEMA

Hyundai has partnered with US based engineering company Bisimoto Engineering to create 700 horsepower 2016 Tucson.

Named Bisimoto's "Brute Ute", the car features a 2.4-liter "Theta-II" powertrain, which is accompanied by a fast-burning flex-fuel, a high-boost turbocharger and an upgraded engine management system that makes the vehicle powerful.

Apart from upgrading the major components Bisimoto also gave new look to the car's exterior with Denmatic Design Scheme, Bisimoto Custom Grille Insert, Rhythms Powder Coating, Driftmotion Aluminum Piping, air-ride suspension, and white race-spec wheels.

Bisimoto Engineering chief engineer Bisi Ezerioha said: "The 2016 Tucson was the perfect platform for this year's build, offering me the opportunity to captivate a wider audience by tapping into the growing popularity of the CUV market.

"After hundreds of hours of testing and developing new engine components, we're confident that this power plant can handle what we're asking from it, delivering a fresh, race-bred take on the 2016 Tucson with performance and reliability at its core."

Brute Ute will be showcased at the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) this November to be held in Las Vegas, the same show where last year the companies showcased the 708 horsepower Sonata.

For the special Sonata Bisimoto, the company used 2.4-liter "Theta-II" 4-cylinder engine , and the car featured forged pistons, connecting rods, a high-revving valve train and camshafts, along with a high-boost turbocharger, and a fast-burning, flex-fuel diet.

This year will mark the fourth year of collaboration between the companies on a special edition vehicle.
