California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), a casual dining restaurant chain in the US,cThe new seasonal menu items include Brussels + Bacon Pizza and Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad.
The Brussels + Bacon Pizza is topped with sweet caramelized onions, Nueske's applewood smoked bacon, Romano and goat cheese with black pepper. It contains Brussels sprouts that have been hand-separated, tossed in olive oil and charred to give a crispy and sweet texture that complements the other ingredients.
Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad is offered as a small plate and includes a selection of colorful, seasonal beets on a bed of red watercress, tossed with house-made lemon vinaigrette and adorned with California pistachios, said the company.
CPK chief executive officer GJ Hart said that the seasonal ingredients Brussels sprouts and red watercress are in peak quality and flavor, which makes their new menu items delicious and innovative addition to their existing menu.
Brussels + Bacon Pizza and Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad will be available in all California Pizza Kitchen locations through the end of March.
