Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, a part of Allianz group has announced promotion as Charles Wikelius as assistant vice president of senior counsel.
Wikelius, who reports to the company's Litigation and Regulatory vice president Scott Bowman will be responsible for addressing all aspects of insurance regulation throughout the US and will also lead the legal department's response to state enforcement matters.
Having joined Allianz Life in 2000, Wikelius as an attorney with the legal department, and was responsible for litigation and regulatory matters.
He also worked as deputy attorney general with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office and also served as deputy commissioner, responsible for enforcement with the Minnesota Department of Commerce, prior to joining Allianz Life.
