Monolayer and coextruded barrier films supplier in the US, Danafilms has been renamed as RKW Danafilms, which identifies the company as part of the RKW-Group, aiding its strategic growth initiatives in North America.
The RKW Danafilms brand will symbolize the accomplishments and performance that have come about since RKW-Group purchased Danafilms two years ago.
As a result of international teamwork, the company has invested in new extrusion equipment which has created jobs at the Westborough, Massachusetts and Franklin, Kentucky locations.
The growth helped the company to expand its films portfolio, and bring new and existing products to its European clients with locations in North America.
Beginning 2013, Danafilms has also laid the groundwork for manufacturing hygiene films, which is expected to extend its effort in serving existing as well as new customers in the region.
