Taiwan's Walsin Lihwa Has Completed Construction of Annual Production and Pickling Plant

Reportedly, Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa has announced that the company has completed construction of its annual production by 350,000~400,000 tons of stainless strip annealing and pickling plant in Taichung in central Taiwan. Meanwhile, the company has made preparation for cold trial runs at the facility since December of 2012. According to source, the company’s hot trial run is expected to start in March of 2012 but it will depend on the progress of the hot trials. In the meantime, the construction of the pickling plant was started in May, 2011 and the company expects to be commissioned around early 2013.
