Coldesi Announced The Latest in The DTG Family of Direct to Garment Printers- The DTG M4

Coldesi, Inc., national apparel decorating equipment supplier with offices in Tampa, Florida and Santa Ana, California announced the release of the latest in the DTG family of Direct to Garment Printers– the DTG M4.

Direct to Garment Printers use inkjet technology to print designs directly onto t-shirts from graphics files on the computer. This technology has enabled online t-shirt companies to print small quantities of shirts on demand rather than insist on minimum orders. This would be unheard of in the traditional screen printing world where extensive set up costs typically make short runs too expensive. ColDesi, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of the DTG line of direct to garment printers in the Americas.

The new DTG M4 uses the same advanced printing technology as its smaller counterpart, the M2, but with a significantly expanded platen system that allows for printing 4+ shirts at a time, improving overall efficiency and dramatically increasing the ROI for the machine, particularly for business screen printing shops. Being able to print 4 standard t-shirts at a time means the ability to let the machine run longer without operator interaction, making that employee more productive.

In addition to the new machine, the RIP software that’s now included with the DTG M series direct to garment printers is now approximately 30% faster, further increasing the productivity of the staff. The new application can queue an entire days jobs, leaving the artist free to do other things while an operator simply advances from one job to the next.
