The Egger Group has in the started with preparatory building measures for a new replacement adhesive/impregnating plant at the particleboard plant in Hexham, which trades as Egger UK. The adhesive resins produced at the new plant, which is to trade under the name Campact, as did the old one, are to be processed in Hexham and in the raw-particleboard plant in Barony, Scotland; in addition, impregnating resins will be produced for the two treatment lines operating in Hexham. Egger will process all adhesive/impregnating-resin production in the two British plants; no deliveries to external buyers are planned.
